Creative Mindfulness for Kids

The Creative Mindfulness for Kids Method was created by Louise Shanagher. Creative Mindfulness is a unique method that introduces mindfulness to children in fun and creative ways. Children learn how to calm and relax their minds, to focus and pay attention, to understand and express their thoughts and feelings and cultivate kindness for themselves and others through creativity, art, craft, stories, meditation, visualisation and discussion

Children’s Yoga Classes & Teen Yoga Classes

Yoga classes are an excellent way for your child to reach their goals, whether that is to improve functional movement skills, coordination and balance, or to support their wellbeing through breathing practices, quiet reflection and creative activities. Yoga can support with many areas including emotional and sensory regulation, focus and attention, body awareness and interoception, and confidence.

Children’s yoga classes are designed to be fun & playful, and there are always options available to make sure that classes are accessible to all.

Teen Yoga classes are also particularly beneficial for managing stress and overwhelm, and developing an understanding and appreciation of our bodies particularly through hormonal changes. Classes include a combination of postures that are restorative and relaxing, while also gently challenging ourselves to try new postures or poses that we may not have tried before. Breathing techniques and mindfulness activities are incorporated throughout.
